I produced this track in a few hours when I was visiting some friends in Texas. I was originally going for a completely different sound with the sample, but the way it turned out was great. Especially because people tell me this song is one of my most liked songs. The song is about taking the listener on a journey back to the early days of hip hop when it was a cultural phenomenon in the streets of New York City. The album cover was a PAIN to create, but it captures the essence of what the song is all about perfectly.
